It gives our bread its great volume and keeps it nice and soft, as well as making white bread perfectly white. Depending on the type of bread, bun or other baked product, we may include a few other ingredients too. Top a slice of Baker Street Rye Bread (toasted if you fancy it) with some corned beef and sauerkraut. All you need is some sliced mushrooms fried in a small amount of butter in a frying pan, and pop them on some toasted slices of our Seeded Rye Bread.

As the Pastry Chef, you will be required to make an assortment of pastries, rolls, and breads that have been in rotation at Bakery Street for decades. Forget blocks of rye bread – our Seeded Rye Bread is stone-baked in a classic loaf shape – perfect for tasty open sandwiches.It’s our clever packing process that helps our delicious bread, buns and rolls retain their freshness. With layers of garlic buttered bread, grated cheese, ham and chutney, all covered in a creamy sauce, alongside slices of Baker Street’s Brown Sliced Loaf, it’s a tasty meal that won’t disappoint.

A slice of our Seeded Rye Bread with your favourite toppings makes a fantastic open sandwich, but we’re particularly partial to a slice lightly toasted and spread with butter and jam for either breakfast or a simple snack. Rapeseed Oil, Yeast, Flavouring, Emulsifiers (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids, Sodium Stearoyl-2-Lactylate), Salt, Sugar, Rye Flour, Wheatgerm, Soya Flour, Preservative (Calcium Propionate), Malted Rye Flour, Flour Treatment Agent (Ascorbic Acid). Our rye breads are made with a sourdough starter and are stone baked for a richer flavour and a lighter texture. If you want something a bit more adventurous give brie, blackberry and rosemary a try (it works – trust us!Soya flour helps to improve the formation of the dough – so we can make into the shapes you’re used to. This mild but tasty sandwich filling option is a total crowdpleaser and goes great with a simple layer of lettuce. It’s cleverly packed to stay fresh for longer and there’s no crust ends either, so everyone can enjoy the full brown loaf without any waste! But just in case there’s something on the pack you’re not quite sure about, here’s a little info about our key ingredients and why we use them. As such, many flour millers throughout Europe have now recommended that wheat flour should be labelled accordingly.
