Be mindful when pouring in case there's sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Our experts recommend leaving the final centimetre in the bottle just in case. This category featured IPAs from a selection of popular brands including Beavertown, Goose Island and Greene King.

Pour into a glass angled at 45 degrees and leave space for the head, as it adds to the aroma and taste of the first sip. High-strength IPAs went head to head in this category, which included beers from BrewDog, Camden Town Brewery and St Austell. Brooklyn’s iconic logo, created by US design legend Milton Glaser, is integral to the brand’s history, so it was important we keep the essence of it there, whilst making the necessary changes to build a bolder brand imprint. In the last 33 years Brooklyn Brewery has grown exponentially – in size, value, global reach, you name it. But this growth has caused complexity, and over time the brand has become cluttered and confused.Try cutting through, complementing, and contrasting flavours too. For example, you could try a sharp citrussy beer with oily sardines, or a sweeter beer with salty halloumi. The Duchy brands and M&S Staffordshire IPA bottled ales are suitable for vegetarians. All of our other brands use isinglass finings during the processing."

I am afraid [the American Pale Ale] is not suitable for Vegans – isinglass is used in the brewery." All of our beers are vegan friendly. Our cask beers are filtered with the vegan-friendly Biofine Clear." Scarecrow, Duchy brands in bottle and M&S Staffordshire IPA are all processed without the aid of isinglass and therefore should be suitable for vegans."Oxford Gold and Circle Master both of which are available in bottle. No cask beers are suitable. Circle Master and Oxford Gold in bottle are the only brands we own that do not use isinglass. Green Goblin is brewed by Thatchers who will be assuming a franchise in the near future. The Supermarket owned brands are not our brands; we brew them when we are asked to. Having said that we do brew the Duchy Originals for Waitrose and I believe we own the brand. Whatever, the supermarket beers listed I'm sure will still be suitable for vegetarians but out of courtesy it should be them rather than us that confirms it." There has been a change to the “fast cask” Hobgoblin - Isinglass finings are now used in the process pre filter, but not added to the cask itself. So the only beers we do now that have no isinglass finings at any stage of the process are the organic beers." Unfortunately none of our cask beers are suitable for Vegetarians, however we can confirm that all of our bottled organic ales as detailed below, together with our Green Goblin Cider are suitable for vegetarians/vegans.(Circle Master, Brakspear Oxford Gold (bottled), Morrisons Organic Golden Ale, Duchy Originals Organic)" Store your beer in a cool, dark place, especially in summer. Exposure to UV light will break down the compounds in the hops, which become ‘off’ flavours. We saw the opportunity to strengthen this global icon with a consistent, futureproofed design system that would deliver a more impactful brand experience.
