I don't have the original, but as I understand it it's essentially just a souped up version of the original that lasts longer and has a little bit more depth to it. There are some scents you get, experience and can't wait to review, to gush words of praise and tell the world from the rooftops.

I wish I could train my nose like others, I just enjoy fragrances but generally cant pick out individual notes. Since then, tea has been a signature note for this brand, incorporated successfully in many compositions in the 90s and early 2000s. I think this fragrance can be worn indoors and outdoors, casual and formal settings, be it day or night.

Its just as though you're getting the sweet vibe from it subconsciously (i know it sounds weird and vague but this is the sole description i can give of its sweetness). This strange sweetness coupled with the [green tea + clean fir] notes give Soir and Extreme their unique personality. This is perfect for office wear as it isn't too heavy but there is enough there for people to notice.

Shortly after its release, I received "Bulgari pour Homme" in the normal version as a gift from my girlfriend at the time. The best and most unique fragrance I have ever had, the only fragrance better is the intense version, ‘Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme’. Bvlgari Extreme has only a passing similarity to L'eau D'issey and Royal Water, both of which are similar to each other due to the sharp yuzu (D'issey) and juniper berries/mint (Creed). After trying Wood Neroli, I was excited to try another Bvlgari fragrance because even though I didn't like the smell, I had to admit the mixture and weight and everything else was perfect.I wouldn't say this is feminine but I would love this scent on a woman, not so much the Extreme version. It is the only one of their fragrances (one of the only ones in the world anymore) that doesn't have this ubiquitous fragrance chemical that turns my stomach!

Clean, smooth, classy, aromatic, elegant, very pleasing indeed, sophisticated, rich and classy without being cocky, safe and stylish scent for all introverts who don't want to overly boast about what they wear or offend anyone. This sweetness however is very hard to describe(its very mild and it just seems to be there and not be there at the same time). The grapefruit in its opening is a little overpowering no doubt but one whiff of that refreshing green tea seconds later just blows you away. I wouldn't describe this as particularly spicy or woody - more a fresh, marine citrus that actually has a 'base' to it. suits a confident calm gentleman type of a personality and certainly not for someone that requires spotlight on all the time.I'm getting two pronounced reminders here: it's 80% Versace Man Eau Fraiche and some of the notes from Bvlgari Aqva Marine - which must be the cedar and citrus creating that fresh marine vibe. Spray it on your clothes and you might not appreciate it, but spray it on your skin and the magic will happen. I have a lot of summer frag's and none of them garner the amount of compliments and inquisitions as Bvlgari Pour Homme. The visual I get when wearing this is meditating in a Zen or Buddhist temple garden high up in the mountains and Winter and Spring are melding together.
