Thanks to the STELLAR.45 driver, The PRO X range are going to sound excellent in the Studio, plugged into an interface or amplifier – but you can also use them on the go if you plug them into a laptop or a smartphone as they are going to turn up very loud. For (live) mixing in loud environments, closed headphones are usually used. From our portfolio, the DT 770 M, the DT 770 PRO, the DT 700 PRO X and the DT 1770 PRO are suitable. The DT 770 come in three different versions with different impedances, depending on how you plan to use them: a 250 Ohm version, an 80 Ohm version, and a 32 Ohm version. The 250 Ohm version is designed for environments like a studio where the headphones will always be plugged into a high-quality headphone amp, while the 32 Ohm version is meant for computers and mobile devices.

First things first, this is not a set of “muddy” headphones, or whatever words people like to use when describing sound they don’t like. You have to power it correctly. If you know that your computer or phone can handle it, the DT 770 PRO can handle pretty much anything you throw at it, but you need to know that they have a very strong emphasis in the highest notes which can get a little grating after a while. This simply means that the emphasis in anything that goes through them tends to favor the highest notes over all else. Lows, mids, and highs The PRO models (DT 770 PRO, DT 880 PRO, DT 990 PRO) are designed for professional applications, e.g. in the recording studio. The Edition models are suitable for use at home on the stereo system. It sounds complicated, but it really is not at all, and you'll see that when you do it yourself. The only thing you need to be careful with is if you remove the driver, don't let it just drop as it will put strain on the wiring (which ended up breaking on mine). You don't have to be super-careful as its all pretty tough, but just a heads up on that. On top of that the comfort and the overall mechanical design was increased and a removable XLR cable was added that can be swapped out depending on what you’re doing. +Which ist the best headphone for mixing and mastering?Listening to The Beach Boys' " Long Promised Road," the bass notes on the electric piano that carry the beginning of the song sit perfectly where they should, without overly blooming into the midrange. While the DT 770 PROs and Beyerdynamic headphones, in general, have a reputation for being slightly sibilant, here, the boosted treble breathes new life into this older recording. The corresponding models of both product families PRO and Edition are hardly distinguishable in terms of sound, as long as they have the same impedance (e.g. DT 880 Edition / 250 Ohm and DT 880 PRO / 250 Ohm sound the same).

I know what you're talking about, but I don't think it has any impact on the sound. I don't know what might be causing the rattle though. For mixing and mastering in the studio, open headphones are often used because of the better spatial representation. Our portfolio includes the DT 880 PRO, the DT 990 PRO, the DT 900 PRO X and the DT 1990 PRO.

In general, our DT 770 PRO, DT 700 PRO X and DT 990 PRO, DT 900 PRO X studio headphones are suitable for streamers and can be used for gaming accordingly. To find the perfect headset for your own use, we recommend our online gaming guide. +What is the difference between PRO and PRO X? The PRO range contains classic world-renowned studio headphones that are great for producing, mixing, mastering and other studio tasks. But you really do need to use a high-quality amplifier or audio interface to get the most out of these headphones.
