okay, I've solved my question. First tether usb to phone connection by connecting phone to computer by usb and configuring on phone settings 'tether'. I bought a Foktech AC600 USB wifi dongle (linux compatible apparently) so I could connect my rasberry pie to my network. However, when I goto set the wifi region it says that no wireless interface has been found. I've searched all over for a guide on installing a wifi dongle on retopie, but they all start with setting the wifi region. I'm expecting to install some drivers or something, but being a total newbie to retropie and linux in general I have no idea how.When you run the installer your screen will dim and you will be asked to confirm that you want to run the installation.
