About this deal

Also his partner Jules appears in the book and her honesty with her experiences of having a partner with anxiety felt so real and genuine.

I want to be his friend so I can get invited for really chill dinner parties and eat his beautiful roast chicken and be told I’m doing my life right no matter what. Living in the US, it took awhile to get here, and it took even longer for me to get around to reading it. It’s not a 5 star rating, only because as others said better than I did, it perhaps could have used a little more structural editing, but that’s being a bit pedantic. There was a great (albeit long-winded) section encouraging the low budget weekend getaway just to get out of town and see somewhere new. He's been through some shit and he has so many endearing qualities that make you think so highly of this guy.Nat’s platform has enabled him to hold up a tongue-in-cheek mirror to antiquated cultural norms, to promote a little kindness and to have a chat about his own battle with mental health.

Like most people, Nat has been subject to hearing "simple solutions" to complex problems that aren't worth anyone's time of day. He is the author of three bestselling books: Un-cook Yourself, Death to Jar Sauce and Life: What Nat to Do.

Filled with anecdotes about some of the ratbag things he's gotten up to in his life, plus a few recipes thrown in for good measure, this book is a fun read with lots of heart. Goddamn, the situations I wouldn't have had to endure if I'd just told a few people to fuck off in my life. Watching leeks with little hairy bumcheeks run away from a fuck off knife has given me immense joy, and I never want to read a recipe that’s not like that ever again. Overall a very good quality service from this seller and I would not hesitate to recommend this seller. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.I love Nat, and have been a big fan of how is talking sounds very similar to mine and which is rare to find lol. Content creator, comedian, rock musician, isolation cooking champion and mental health ambassador Nat has been making videos as Nat’s What I Reckon for almost a decade. But as someone who has struggled to find the ray of positivity in most days of his life, he knows what it's like to feel the relief from a moment of joy. Nat’s What I Reckon was the tattooed lockdown saviour we didn’t know we needed, rescuing us from packet food, jar sauce and total boredom with his hilarious viral recipe videos that got us cooking at home like champions again.

Nat’s debut book Un-cook Yourself: A Ratbag’s Rules For Life topped bestseller lists in its first week of release and went on to win Booktopia’s Favourite Australian Book Award of 2020 (the proceeds of which Nat donated to Beyond Blue), and was nominated for Non-Fiction Book of the Year in the Australian Book Industry Awards.I’m not sure if I needed this book, but I’ll be God damned if I didn’t bloody enjoy myself reading it!
