Overall, the Binatone Latitude 150 radio is an efficient communication tool that offers users the ability to connect over 8 channels. I will now attempt to repair it, as per very clearly stated in description it was sold as requiring repair! Leading to him turning his unit off until he wants to speak, thus not hearing what the other is trying to say to him! The good bits are when they're set to the same channel, they work brilliantly and the re-chargeable facility means that they are used a lot by my children, albeit with my assistance to set them to the right channels. Have once heard someone elses voice through them as we must have picked up on someones signal, bit eery and funny.

This set is very user friendly, has a wide-range and no interference which I was particularly pleasantly surprised about. They don't have the distance suggested in the instructions which I think is 5km but we use them in a field down the road and can hear back at home once we're going back up the hill.By cranking the pump round like crazy you could feel the pipe on one side of the valve getting colder and on the other side getting hotter (and if you cranked it the other way then it worked the other way round).

He already does have a walkie talkie but is more for play use and he hardly uses them because of the constant crackle when the units aren't in use.
