Yes definitely, the gritty action, deadly drama, world-building and toxic attraction and passion made the bad tempered bitter-sweet chapters fly by in an awesome unstoppable flurry of friction, fireworks, flames and feels. I do love a good TL Smith book but this one has more edge, more grit a little bit more sass and more evilness sprinkled on top. Finding out her husband’s betrayal and that Keir plans on killing her anyway is the spark that sets her off.
