We are only in the beginning of volume two, so a lot can still change, therefore, I will propably be making an update of this review when it is completed. But that yankee is Tsugumi, an Omega who doesn't use suppressants and deals with his heats through sheer willpower. Tsugumi loathes all alphas because they consider omegas just tools for reproduction and has sworn to kill them all.

In the first volume, we just see him as a side character to advance plot, and in one chapter he suddenly becomes the main rival! Megumi, the son of the elite school’s chairman, takes it upon himself to avenge his pummeled friends, but when the time comes, all he finds is a fired-up Tsugumi reeking of pheromones and insisting he can control his heat through sheer willpower!I do enjoy the plot twist and the idea of a love triangle forming, but I feel as though the character of Subaru (the best friend) isn't introduced well. Photographer Akihito Takaba takes on a risky assignment trying to document the illegal activities of the Japanese underworld. Megumi, an Alpha, son of the great Kokonoe Academy Chairman, goes to avenge his friends who were beaten by a yankee wielding a metal pipe. Megumi, whose behaviour is different from other alphas, confuses Tsugumi and leaves him torn between rage and desire.

Tsugumi is a delinquent who hates all alphas for how they treat omegas like him, so when some alphas from an elite school attack another omega, Tsugumi beats ’em to a pulp!

Usually in most omegaverse narratives (and I've read a lot), the omega is immediatly corrupted by his desires and once he gives in, the dilemma results more towards the alpha.
