Little Miss Chatterbox is a recurring character in the 2008 TV series The Mr. Men Show. Miss Chatterbox keeps her looks and, as usual, Miss Chatterbox never shuts up. Miss Chatterbox annoys Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Stubborn and Mr. Rude with her talking. Her house is on top of a hill, and shaped like a telephone. In the US and UK versions, Miss Chatterbox is voiced by Katie Leigh and Teresa Gallagher respectively. The book Mr Happy written by Roger Hargreaves tells the story of a character called Mr Happy, who lives in Happyland, a place where even the animals and flowers are happy. One day whilst walking in a wood Mr Happy spots a small door. Inside, Mr Happy meets someone who looks exactly like him but instead of smiling this person is miserable. The character introduces himself as Mr Miserable. Mr Happy tells Mr Miserable to come and stay with him in Happyland. Whilst staying in Happyland, Mr Miserable slowly but surely stops being miserable and begins to smile. The story ends with Mr Happy and Mr Miserable laughing happily together. He then goes through the door, and down a small staircase, where he finds a room at the bottom. Mr. Miserable resides inside the room, and he looks exactly like Mr. Happy, except with a big frown instead of a big smile. Mr. Happy takes Mr. Miserable out with him and invites him to stay in Happyland for a while.Charles Roger Hargreaves was an English author and illustrator of children's books, notably the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, intended for very young readers. He is Britain's third best-selling author, having sold more than 100 million books. Miss Giggles appeared in The Mr. Men Show in season two; Miss Giggles was voiced by Rebecca Forstadt (credited as Reba West) in the US version and Claire Morgan in the UK. Once during her daily walk Miss Giggles loses her giggle; Miss Giggles meets Mr. Happy, and they go to Dr. Makeyouwell. To solve the problem, Mr. Happy gives Little Miss Giggles a "giggle". Little Miss Chatterbox is the 16th book in the Little Miss series. Little Miss Chatterbox talks a lot, just like her brother, Mr. Chatterbox. Miss Chatterbox gets fired every time she works at a job. Miss Chatterbox then gets a job as a telephone worker who tells the time every second.

After Hargreaves died from a stroke aged 53, his son Adam created new characters such as Mr Cool and Little Miss Bad. However, to diagnose our hero as suffering from schizophrenia would be perfectly justified - and the classic 'voices in the head' symptom would certainly solve the talking birds/worms quandary. His segment with Mr. Stubborn in "Boo-Boos" had more feelings of anger, but were cut as the directors said Mr. Happy wasn't allowed to be angry. Ironically, he is also one of the Angry Heads (sometimes). She has a fondness for buttons as shown in 'Arts and Crafts' and 'Driving', the latter in which she wanted to go to a rainbow and buttons store.
