A repentant ex- Decepticon from a doomed alternate future, the most surprising thing about Gigawatt is the fact that he didn't join the Autobots sooner. Kind-hearted and empathetic, if a little awkward and unsure of himself, Gigawatt was just a low-ranking Decepticon number-cruncher until a crisis of conscience pushed him out of the Decepticons and into the Autobot ranks, where he now does his best to redeem himself.
