About this deal

If you don’t like the sound of Fender Champion 40 and you’re sure that this combo is not made for you, that’s totally fine! There’s still quite a few other really good amps that also deserve a lot of attention. Of course, it all depends on what you’re looking for and how much are you willing to spend. The fiberboard that encircles the speaker is sturdy and stable. The important point to note here is that the dimensions of the wood surrounding the speaker fitting have not been decreased to save weight, as some manufacturers do. If this portion of the fitting is not secure, speaker movement inside the cabinet will cause damage over time. This will either damage the sound, create internal movement in the speaker, or, in the worst-case scenario, cause the speaker to become disconnected from its fitting and chase you around the stage. Even if you are in Spinal Tap, this is not a good situation. And remember that it’s powerful enough to annoy your neighbors, so that’s definitely a good sign too. FAQ Where is this combo made? Buy it on Sweetwater | Guitar Center | Thomann| Sky Music | Reverb | Walmart Why does my Fender Champion 40 pop when I turn it off? The only thing we could find is that when it is turned off, there is a loud pop. That won’t do the speaker much good over a period of time. Even that issue though might be unfounded as the volume was still up so turning the volume down before turning it off may well solve that problem as it often does.

Yes, the Fender Champion 40 has Reverb. The difference with this Champion over other amplifiers is that Reverb is one of the many effects you can add thanks to the dedicated FX Select dial. Unlike traditional tube amplifiers, the Champion 40s reverb circuit is digital. The reverb circuit was spring on older versions like the Champion 30 from the 90s, but they didn’t have all the built-in DSP (digital) effects like the modern versions. Champion 40 FX Selection Dial For some larger items which need to be delivered upstairs - including pianos, we offer a timed delivery service using our own van and drivers. This service is free on some items and chargeable on others. Call us on 01323 639335 to discuss your specific delivery requirements. The Fender Champion 40 is loud enough for small cafe and club gigs. This is loud enough to keep up with a drummer, either with a smaller kit or someone not playing above 50% maximum volume. If you need more volume, you can easily mic up the amplifier and go through the PA system at a gig. Champion 40 12″ Speaker 8-ohms You would have to say that the effects like the reverb, the chorus, and the delay are there to assist rather than take center stage, but the amp modeling is a good option and opens up a whole area of sound production. Most artists have nothing but positive things to say about the Fender brand , claiming that it fully deserves to be regarded as one of the top brands available when it comes to instruments and musical equipment. When it comes to the excellent, dependable sound that consumers have come to expect from a Fender amp, the Champion 40 is no exception! So, we have discovered that it is well made from good materials. It has a single powerful speaker and a few onboard effects, and of course, there is the amp modeling to play with. Most of all though it looks like a Fender. This amplifier features digital amplifier modeling encompassing a variety of amp types old and new, U.S. and U.K., and more. From classic Fender amp sounds to modern designs voiced for specific styles (i.e., metal), it’s just like having several amps in one. It continues with the effects section, for which two control options are available, the FX level (mixing ratio of direct and effect sound) and the controller for selecting the effect, marked here with FX-Select. Twelve different effects can be selected via the control path. Clean channel is crisp enough, and clear - includes a treble and bass control, so there's flexibility in altering the tone to one's contempt. Can range from crisp clear, to fat and bluesy without much effort. Serving up classic Fender cleans and overdrive, plus a selection of British and modern amp voicings and distortion flavors, the 2-channel Fender Champion 40 has you covered for rehearsals and club gigs. Channel one gives you your classic Fender clean tones based on amps like the Twin Reverb, while channel two has selectable amp voicing. And with 40 watts through a Fender 12" Special Design speaker, this 19-pound powerhouse is the perfect amp to toss in your roadster and take to tonight's club date. Polish your tone with great-sounding onboard effects

Overall, it offers a fantastic quality for the money. I have no hesitation in recommending this combo to all musicians who are looking for a good sounding, inexpensive and reliable piece of gear. What do you think about that amp? Would you get it for yourself? Leave a comment down below and let me know what you think, I’m really interested to hear your thoughts!
