About this deal

resumiendo: "Лукас Ловкач" - это типичный боевик из прошлого, причем сильно пропитанный запахом категории B. Картонные герои, злодей, который злой только потому что злой и ему все наскучило. When am I ever not serious?’ Lukas shrugged. ‘We have a duty, pups. These folk are our life’s blood. They are Fenris. Without them, we are nothing. I will not allow them to be made chattel while I play the fierce hunter.’ Grotesques • Incubi • Kabalite Trueborn • Mandrakes • Crimson Duelist • Disciple of Yaelindra • Elixicant • Flayer • Skysplinter Assassin While Lukas remains forever the irreverent upstart, he will never achieve advancement within the Chapter and will remain forever a Blood Claw. Such a sentence suits him well though, for Lukas enjoys their company far better than that of the stuffy, level-headed senior members of the Chapter, whose concerns are musty old sagas and the study of ancient battle doctrine. So effective is he in battle that Lukas has only been bested once -- after an abortive attempt to cripple the flagship of Duke Sliscus of the Drukhari, he was set adrift in space, his Secondary Heart taken as a souvenir by those insidious xenos. Surviving the ordeal as only a Space Marine could, Lukas had a Stasis Grenade wired in place of his secondary heart so that, when his primary heart finally stops beating, he and the one who bested him will be frozen in time as an eternal monument to his own glory. They are protecting themselves,’ Lukas said softly. ‘They have fought. Can’t you smell the blood on them? The stink of death and sorrow? Look at the wounds, fool.’ He gestured to the mortals. Many, including Hetha, were watching the confrontation now, wide-eyed and uncertain. ‘Would you have them match bronze against hell-forged steel? To what end?’

Confident and fresh, the Blood Claws are constantly abuzz with the belligerent enthusiasm of youth and the excitement of having ascended to the ranks of the fabled Sky Warriors of Fenris. This is not our duty,’ Ake growled stubbornly. ‘The enemy are out there. We must scour them from the face of this world. That is our duty. That is our purpose.’ Have you pups ever wondered why we let them live like this? Why we let them suffer hardship and cruelty?’The Space Wolves are one of my favorite Space Marine Chapters and Lukas may be my favorite Space Marine characters. As a fan of Norse Mythology, I love the parallels between him and Loki, both in mannerisms and appearance (Since Original Loki canonically has red hair). In many ways, Lukas is the Anti-Space Marine. While many Space Marines are relatable and human enough to connect with, Lukas feels like he never stopped being human in terms of personality. He's like a person who was modified, but never got the final bits of brainwashing that Space Marines go through. He remembers his past and the people he knew and keeps an eye on those who are his descendants and looks out for them. He also screws around with his brothers simply for the sake of it. Why does he do it? Boredom and to be the Clown that everyone needs. He's the one who calls out the hypocrisies of Space Marines who protect others but let their own people suffer because they believe it builds character. He's also pretty damn smart in that he is able to outthink opponents and devise clever traps for them. The story is very simple, it revolves around two individuals that is connectes to one event. Hence, the story isn't complicated and easy to follow As a result, the Dark Eldar never seem like that much of a threat, at least not to the Space Wolves, who mostly don't care about the lifes of the mortal inhabitants of their planet. Honestly, when it comes to the Dark Eldar side of this novel, I probably would have found a full account of Slicus' escape from Commoragh much more interesting than this doomed raid and I found Lady Malys to be a far more engaging character than Slicus himself.

Oh, we like to pretend that we are better – that our savagery makes us strong. But it’s a lie, told by old men who were themselves lied to by those who came before. Worst of all, we all know the lie for what it is. But we accept it, because to do otherwise is to admit that somewhere along the way we made a mistake.’ Lukas grinned. ‘More than one.’ This is partly due to his taunts -- his rude gestures transcend all languages -- but even more so due to his pelt. The hide was taken from a chameleonic doppegangrel, and the shimmering conflicting images that blur before an enemy are confusing in the extreme. Endlessly spiteful, Lukas does not forget a slight, and repays what he sees as wanton authority with clever and humiliating pranks. To truly cross his path or cause he or his brothers actual harm is to invite an unusual and painful death.

Lukas has wrought countless acts of singular cunning upon the enemy, such as leading a sizable Ork WAAAGH! to degenerate into a self-destructive civil war, causing the dark technologies of a rogue sect of the Adeptus Mechanicus to turn against their creators and orchestrating the downfall of hundreds of Renegade Space Marines within the Sea of Lost Souls.
