With regards to the washing temperature, PeapodMats were designed for everyday use and they're very durable. No two stains/accidents are the same, hence PeapodMats can be washed at any temperature that suits your needs. If you are looking to make your life significantly easier caring for a bedwetter, this product is a game changer. Yes, of course! PeapodMats were designed to make life easier. You can wash your PeapodMat like a big towel. Wash with similar colours. We don't recommend regular use of fabric softener, dryer sheets, dryer balls or regular use of vinegar or stain removers. These products are known to reduce the quality of waterproofing. However, vinegar or stain removers may be used once in a while if you need extra help with your PeapodMat.I tested the largest size and don't see a purpose for the two smaller options, aside from maybe running to the hospital in labor with the smallest one on my car seat. I’ll be all ears if the Peapod Mat comes in a larger size someday. The PeaPod Mat is a 3-foot by 5-foot leakproof pad for mattresses that feels like a seriously comfortable towel. It has three layers of protection that have yet to be breached by my most relentless bedwetter. This spill-proof mat is very convenient as it is portable and can be easily carried off from one place to another. Factors to consider are the size and age of the child, as well as movement in bed and size of bed. Whichever PeapodMat size you choose, we highly recommend that the bedwetting mat be placed slightly under the pillow. So I’m looking to get some bed wetting mats in the hope that I won’t need to do a full sheet change every time. Does anyone have any recommendations for reusable ones, I’d rather not be adding more to landfill. I keep getting adverts for PeaPod mats which look great but are very expensive (I’ll need at least two to keep up with the washing!) I’ve tried switching from nappies (he still fits comfortably into size 7 nappies) to the dry nites pyjama pants in case they have greater capacity, but it’s made no difference. We have been lifting him for a wee when we go to bed, but although it helps with the nappy not being quite so full in the morning, it hasn’t helped with the leaks. While it works well for my children, adults or anyone who moves around the bed frequently during sleep may need to double up on pads or consider a different option, like a waterproof mattress protector. Some people may need the entire mattress covered, while others will only need to cover a portion.
