I was gifted this automatic tyre inflator from RING Automotive– a company specializing in this type of product – in exchange for publishing an honest review. So here are my thoughts about it. Another welcome feature is the long power lead, which winds up inside the unit. There is also a recess on the side in which the air hose fits, so everything is neatly out of the way when not in use. And it comes with a zipped grey carrying case as well. Additionally, it comes with an LED light complete with three modes, so you can use it to warn ongoing traffic if you are in an emergency situation. Under the base, there is a well-designed cord storage area that prevents too many kinks from occurring, as well as a handy area to store the included nozzles and adaptors. With a max pressure of 50psi, it’s not the most powerful inflator on this list, but hit claims to pump a tyre from flat to 30psi in three minutes, which is an impressive feat. With its generous 70cm air line, this model can accommodate most cars with ease. Simply enter your desired pressure and the unit will begin to inflate your tyres, and then shut off when it’s done. On the downside, this tyre inflator tends to skip the last one to two units.Rechargeable tyre inflators can be extremely useful when on the move, as they're completely portable and can be used anywhere. This new, bigger brass unit makes it much easier to connect to a tyre valve that’s all covered in road gunk because it’s big enough for you to grip properly. It’s also much easier to attach to tyres with awkwardly placed valves.
