About this deal

Can't you see that all we're trying to do is keep our families safe? Look, ah I don't know if seeing couples murder each other on television is gonna make my parents do it, and we probably won't be able to stop them from watching what they wanna watch. All we're trying to do is make it a little more difficult for them. Because cable makes it so convenient. Sure, if they didn't have easy access to their murder porn channels, they'd be bummed out, but it's not just our responsibility to give them what they want. Is it?"

No one quite knows the reason for this voice change but you can argue as the character has aged and matured, his voice is now reflecting his growing confidence and assertiveness. Unless Try or Matt comes out and explain the voice change most fans will be left guessing as to the reason. Stan has an extended group of friends that he hangs out with at school; but he also regularly invites them to his birthday parties, casual games of football and viewings of the newest Terrance & Phillip episode. Despite their frequent breakups and makeups, Stan and Wendy always remain close friends and share a bond throughout the history of the franchise. Stan has a unique set of minor friends, who he shares a mutual liking to. Whether it be his uncle's old war buddy, a big silly goose or the Prince of Darkness himself, they'll always be there to give Stan advice. Stan's been shown to have a significant friendship with Heidi too. She'd go to him when she was having problems with Eric, and she'd lend him school supplies if he needed them.Stan has lived with his mother, father and sister at the Marsh Residence since before the show began. His grandfather has lived with the family in older episodes and was depicted with a bedroom, but as of Season Thirteen seems to have moved to a retirement community. Sparky also lives here.

Funko POP TV: South Park Stick of Truth - Ranger Stan

As one of the core four main characters in South Park, Stan is known for his unique personality traits and quirks. Here are some reasons that we feel make Stan stand out amongst his peers: Empathy and Sensitivity Stan and The Boys team up in a battle through space and time to retrieve their Xbox 360 hard drive, which has been stolen by Scott Tenorman in hopes of destroying it, causing the boys to lose all of their game progress. Overall, Stan Marsh’s combination of empathy, morality, alter egos, relationship dynamics, and his creators’ inspiration make him a unique and multi-dimensional character in the South Park universe. Stan Marsh was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who based the character on their own experiences growing up in Colorado. Like the character of Stan, Parker, and Stone attended a public school in Colorado and dealt with many of the same issues and challenges that the character faces on the show. In creating the character of Stan, Trey Parker sought to create a relatable and likable protagonist who would serve as an anchor for the show’s often outrageous humor. While most Pop! sets are rolled into larger lines like Pop Television or Pop Movies, Funko Pop South Park is one of the few to get a fresh start on numbering with their own set. This likely speaks to the plans for the brand as only the biggest franchises—like Star Wars, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones—receive their own line.Stan's a HUGE Star Trek fan, and has a recurring habit of quoting the series and it's specials, at one point confusing it with the Bible. ( Spontaneous Combustion) He seems to have a slight fondness for the 1986 - 1994 variation Star Trek: The Next Generation ( Damien and Follow That Egg!) Stan is close with his mother, who he inherited his common sense from, and has a good relationship with his father (when not strained by shenanigans) building pinewood derby cars together or watching football. his sister likes to beat the crap out of him when their parents aren't around and then play innocent - but when things get tough, even she's there for him, too. Stan also has a good relationship with his Uncle Jimbo and his war buddy, Ned, going camping in the woods, even if they think Stan's kind of a wuss. Stan's grandfather, Marvin, or "Grampa" is quite fond of him, even if he thinks Stan's kind of a wuss, too. That being said, Stan is far from perfect, and he has his fair share of flaws and foibles. He can be stubborn and headstrong at times, refusing to listen to others when he thinks he knows best. He is also prone to outbursts of anger and frustration, especially when he feels that he or his friends have been wronged. Throughout the show’s run, Stan Marsh has taken on a number of alter egos, each with their own distinct personality and characteristics. These alter egos have been used to explore different facets of Stan’s personality.

Over the years, Parker’s portrayal of Stan has evolved, with subtle changes in his voice reflecting the character’s growth and development. In the early seasons, Stan’s voice was more high-pitched and childlike, reflecting his status as a young boy. Most notably in Season 25, many noticed a distinctively different voice for Stan Marsh. His voice had become deeper and more resonant, to the chagrin of many diehard South Park fans. South Park is the long-running adult animated sitcom that has won over many the hearts of viewers for over two decades. Created by legendary writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the show is known for its irreverent humor, satirical commentary on current events, and its colorful cast of characters. One of the core four characters on the show is Stan Marsh, a seemingly ordinary kid who lives in the fictional town of South Park, Colorado. But what sets Stan apart from the rest of the characters on the show, and why has he become such an iconic figure in South Park lore. Stan's life-long idol is John Elway, a former Denver Bronco, though these references have faded as Elway retired from the team several years ago.

He is not one to blindly accept authority or conventional wisdom, and he is always questioning the world around him. This trait often puts him at odds with the other characters on the show, who are more likely to accept things at face value. In Board Girls, Stan shared his passion for board games with both Nichole and Tammy, enjoying their company and admitting he likes playing with them.
