The promotion for the album began well ahead before its release, as pictures of the band recording were distributed to the media. To support the album, there were many photo shoots of the band on October 29 at the Ambassador Hotel, where the band took a break from recording the album for two days, for designing the cover art of the album. In addition to the original album, the 20th-anniversary edition of Meteora contains live sets in Texas and Nottingham, a collection of rarities from 2003-2004 and demos. It also includes the intense showcase for Bennington's vocals “Lost”, which was recorded during the Meteora sessions and which had not been released until 2023. Live In Nottingham 2003 is the full performance from the BBC Radio 1 Secret Show during the LP Underground Tour. This show was previously broadcasted by BBC Radio 1, however omitting both " Hit The Floor" and " Easier To Run", making this the first time both songs from this show were included anywhere. It's also the first time that a soundboard recording of "Hit The Floor" got released.
